A total nightmare…My sister was sent from Lubbock Tx for her final resting place besides her husband at Eternal Hills. She left here on the 26th of May & did not get buried till June 13th on her 90th birthday. She had a prepay contract & they contacted us that she didn’t have the “mortuary part “ included. We talked to the lady when she made the prepay & she knew exactly what we needed ..Roselea (May be misspelled) Mu sister paid on it & she got a letter telling her she was paid up & even given a credit back. Then 4yrs later when we make the arrangements for her final resting place we get hit with a $2,107 bill . Not only did we have to endure the countless delays with no definite day of burial but have this added burden of coming up with this amount. The customer service is a joke…I practically had to beg Maria to please make it happen that she would finally be buried on her birthday..19 days later!!!She did sent us a video of her burial but we haven’t heard from anyone else after that prepay person promised us that she would send us a video of her marker with her names & dates so we can have that last final closure as we will probably never get to go to visit her graveside. Not the experience we wanted & will have nothing but a bad memory of that place!!! UPDATE…Greg from Eternal Hills reached out to me & listened & truly wasVery compassionate & understanding for allThat we went through. He is going to makeChanges to educate other employees so thatThis doesn’t happen to other families. Also we will be compensated for the prepay & what they charged us over what was on the prepay plan. My faith is restored that they have reached out & listened & went out of their wayTo make it right.Thank you Greg & all the stafffor your care & concern.Blessings
The viewing & funeral service was fine. However, when working out the specifics I felt like a number and I felt like there was zero compassion from the staff. When the Marines at Quantico told me they have had issues with Eternal Hills in the past I agreed with them. I would never recommend that place to anyone. The costs are too high for opening & closing, especially when most of the costs were prepaid. It’s been over 3 weeks and I still do not the death certificate from that place.
My grandfather and grandmother are buried at Eternal Hills, so I had my mom cremated here. I wanted her to pass through the ground her parents were at. As expected, I was treated with care and my mom with dignity. I made the right choice choosing Eternal Hills.

Know before you go
- Consider reaching out directly to specific staff members mentioned positively in reviews for a more personalized experience.
- Ask about all pricing details upfront when making arrangements to avoid surprises later on.
- Visit during quieter times if seeking solitude as some reviewers mentioned loud activities happening late into the evenings.
Reviews
Eternal Hills Mortuary & Crematory at Eternal Hills Memorial Park has received mixed reviews from customers. While some had positive experiences with compassionate and helpful staff, others faced delays, lack of compassion, and high costs. However, there have been instances where the management reached out to rectify issues and improve customer satisfaction. The facility was praised for its professionalism, care for loved ones, and attention to detail in arrangements.

I enjoyed the slideshow and the music arrangements where timely. The overall experience was remarkable and I would highly recommend anyone to have the loved ones placed with Eternal Hills.
I had a great experience working with Jennifer and Chelly. The both of them were both on top of having all of our mother’s arrangements done if we had any questions they were quick to get back to us. They We’re understanding, Compassionate and helpful through the whole process. Thank you so much!!
