Children’s Sunday School

All are welcome!

During the summer of 2016, we’re experimenting with some fun kids’ programs – such as puppeteering and shirt tie-dyeing – during the adult small-group hour of 9:15 to 10:15 a.m. Call or text Pastor Ryan at 859-609-1743 or contact us to find out what’s happening each Sunday.

From 10:15 to 10:30 a.m. is coffee and fellowship, followed by the worship service at 10:30 a.m. Children are welcome to attend worship or the nursery is available for babies to first-graders until 11:45 a.m.

During the non-summer months, Christ Church offers Sunday school at 9:15a.m. During this hour, parents can enjoy each other’s company at our Café or attend Adult Bible & Book Study. All classes are in the back of the church building – adult and high school sessions on the first floor and children’s classes on the lower level. Interested in teaching a class or helping out in one of the classrooms? Email Julie Mai or call her at 441-4494.

Preschool/Kindergarten – Children who are 2 through 5 years old enjoy learning simple Bible stories through play, drama, puppets, music, and crafts.

First and Second Grade – Children receive weekly take-home Bible stories and express their learning through art, music, and crafts.

Third and Fourth Grade – Weekly Bible stories that mirror the liturgy help children understand worship services along with hands-on learning experiences in the classroom.

Fifth through Eighth Grade – Interactive learning is the key to this active classroom.  Whether it be drama, music, crafts or fun activities – young people gain an understanding of how the Bible plays out in their everyday lives.

High School Youth – Bible study, discussion, music, and active learning highlight this class.
