Oktoberfest details

WebBanner2Enjoy craft beer, traditional German food, live music, games and more at Christ Church’s Oktoberfest! Our address is 15 S. Fort Thomas Ave., six blocks south of Highland High School across from the post office.

Friday, Sept. 11, from 5 to 11 p.m. will be a party in the back left parking lot of the church, with German food, burgers and hot dogs, craft and regular beer, wine and live music by local band the Doppel Gangsters. Kids get a free hot dog thanks to one of our sponsors, Hosea Project Movers. Think of it as a pre-festival party – perfect for hanging out after the Highlands game.

Saturday, Sept. 12, from 4 to 11 p.m., will be the full festival – raffles, a cake walk, inflatables, kids games, a silent auction, craft and regular beer and wine, live music by the Polka Dots starting around 6 p.m. followed by David Hughes around 8 p.m.,  a stein hoisting competition and all the traditional German favorites, like strudel, brats, cream puffs and pretzels.

Come celebrate the start of fall and hoist a stein with us! All proceeds benefit the missions of Christ Church.
