January Lunch & Learn: Ohio River Floods

January Lunch & Learn: Ohio River Floods

Our next Lunch & Learn will focus on the body of water that has shaped the Tri-State region. The Ohio River is responsible for the growth of industry and the populations that settled along its banks. Join us on Tuesday, January 24 and learn about the “Ohio River Floods” presented by Mr. Dave Traut, docent from the Cincinnati Museum Center.

January, 2017 marks the 80th anniversary of the historic 1937 flood that so severely impacted the Northern Kentucky and Cincinnati area. Traut’s presentation will focus on the ’37 flood along with other major floods on the Ohio River.

Join us for lunch at 11:30 followed by the presentation at noon. Reservations are required for the lunch portion. To make reservations please call Nancy Hunter at 441-7207 or email nhunter@zoomtown.com.
