Message from Washington UCC

Everyone who comes to our church, every time, is fed.  Rev. Pam DeFusco, Washington UCC, Cincinnati

Food is the most basic human necessity, and part of our shared Christian mission is to make sure all our neighbors have enough to eat.

That is why Washington UCC welcomes our community for a free lunch four days a week; feeds children at after-school Homework Club,

at Sunday School and during Summer Youth Program; and why we give food to families and adults through our Camp Cupboard and Food Pantry.

The food comes from the FreeStore/FoodBank, where we can get some items free and most at half the cost we would pay in a grocery store.

But even “half the cost” still means money. We hope you can help Washington UCC feed our need neighbors.

Washington UCC is participating in the Free Store/Food Bank’s annual Walk Against Hunger on Memorial Day, May 25.

Every $1 we raise in walker sponsors is $1 in credit that we can spend at the FreeStore to by food for people who depend on us for help.

Please sponsor our walkers. Thank you!
