Opportunities to help with UCC convention in June

BE A PART OF GENERAL SYNOD—Here’s How YOU Can Volunteer!
The Ohio Conference of the United Church of Christ is busy preparing an EXTRAVAGANT WELCOME for more than 4000 delegates and visitors to General Synod, June 26-30, 2015 at the Cleveland Convention Center. This large meeting of the United Church of Christ only comes to Ohio about once every 10 years, so this is a special opportunity! As part of the Local Arrangements Committee we anticipate the need for 450 enthusiastic volunteers to help out at the convention. There are opportunities for everyone:

Want to smile and greet?   Want to pass communion?   Want to bake cookies?
Want to take notes at meetings?   Want to help with kids?
The list and description of all opportunities is found online http://www.ucc.org/synod/overview-of-volunteer.html.  We encourage you to take a moment to look over the volunteer opportunities and consider how you can best serve during this important event in the life of our church.  Once you’ve made your choice, please click on this link: https://www.volgistics.com/ex/portal.dll/ap?AP=217476303.  Please direct your questions to: 2015UCCGSVolunteers@gmail.com
