Tues March 4: Shrove Tuesday pancake dinner

Mark your calendars for our second annual Shrove Tuesday/Mardi Gras pancake dinner! It’s 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 4, in Hoffmann Hall (lower level of the church.)

On Shrove Tuesday, it’s traditional for Christian communities to eat pancakes as a way to use up rich ingredients before Lent. This is a great opportunity to invite friends to our church for the first time. Besides pancakes, we’ll serve sausage and fruit. There will be kids’ activities and jazz by Max Gise and friends. It’s free and open to the community.

You can help by donating syrup and sausage links, marked for Shrove Tuesday. Please leave syrup out in the kitchen downstairs and place sausage in the freezer.
